The latest winter chill is setting in, and the City of Guelph is helping to bring people in from the cold.
Guelph City Hall on Carden Street will be open as a warming centre this week.
The front lobby will be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. the next morning. City hall is usually open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
An extreme cold warning was issued by Environment Canada for Guelph, warning of wind chills dipping to near minus-30 C the next two nights.
If you can’t make it to city hall to warm up, there are other options, which you can view online.
