An investigation is underway following a break-in and the theft of tools from a business under renovation.

Police were called to a business in the area of York Road and Kingsmill Avenue at about 1:45 p.m. on Friday in relation to a break-in that allegedly took place the night before. About $800 worth of tools were taken, including drills and a propane heater.

The front door had been pried open, causing the glass pane above the door to crack, a police news release states.
