Police are asking for the public's help identifying two men who are believed to have information about a $17,000 theft at Stone Road Mall.

Police have released a photo of two men connected to the theft of phones and smart watches from Stone Road Mall last month.

The devices, with a collective value of more than $17,000, were reported stolen the morning of Dec. 11. Police were called to the mall after a manager arrived to find a drawer pried open and a crowbar left behind.

Surveillance video showed two men walking around the mall after it had closed, then one entered the stand-alone business and removed the product.

“It is believed the males in the … photograph have information relevant to the investigation,” states a police news release.

Anyone who recognizes the males or has other information about the theft is asked to call Const. Matthew Neault at 519-824-1212 ext. 7601 or email [email protected]. Details can also be left anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.csgw.tips.
