Police are investigating after a young woman reported being sexually assaulted by a stranger Tuesday while using a south end trail.
Approximately 1 p.m. police report they were called to a business on Gordon Street near Clair Road. A woman in her 20s reported she had been walking to work on a trail within the Pine Ridge subdivision when she noticed a male approaching from behind her on a bike.
She said she stepped to the side to give him room, but as the male passed he touched her inappropriately. The victim was not physically injured.
The male was described as white with dirty blonde shoulder-length hair. He was wearing a black backpack and riding a black bicycle.
