Driver doesn't stop after police say van hit person on e-bike

Guelph police are seeking witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage as they continue to investigate a collision between a cyclist and vehicle Tuesday.

Just before 1 p.m. a Guelph woman was riding an e-bike on Gordon Street at Surrey Street when she was struck by a van, a police report states. The driver of the van didn’t stop. The cyclist sustained minor injuries.

The subject vehicle was described as an older gold or tan minivan which appeared to have previous significant damage to the rear tailgate and bumper.
