A Guelph woman was transported to a Hamilton trauma centre after she was struck by a vehicle which ran a red light Wednesday.
Approximately 1:15 p.m. emergency services were called to Victoria Road North and Eastview Road. Investigation revealed a 20-year-old woman was crossing Victoria Road within the crosswalk when she was struck. The woman’s injuries are believed to be minor.
The driver, an 18-year-old woman, is charged with careless driving.
