Last month, at 9:40 a.m., a man entered a restaurant located in the downtown core, walked behind the bar, took two bottles of alcohol valued at $150, and left on foot.
Later in February the male entered a business located near the intersection of Clair Road East and Gordon Street. He selected two bottles of alcohol valued at almost $70, concealed them and left the store on foot.
Thursday, officers located the male in the downtown core, and he was subsequently arrested.
A 24-year-old Guelph male has been charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 and two counts of breach of probation.
