TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has identified human remains located north of Guelph in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Analysis by the Ontario Forensic Pathology Services (OFPS) has determined that remains located in a wooded area, just off Wellington Road 30 on April 21, 2021, are that of Kathleen Ann KRAEHLING, 57-years-old of Cambridge. She was reported as missing to the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) on July 15, 2011.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Wellington County OPP Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Services (FIS), under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) and assisted by the Office of the Chief Coroner (OCCO) and OFPS.
Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.
