In lieu of charges, two local high schoolers will need to complete an education program after they were found to have used an artificial intelligence program to create nude images of several classmates.
A school administrator contacted police on Jan. 13 after finding the images, a police news release states.
An investigation revealed two 15-year-old males used the program to create images of five female students using photos taken from the victims’ social media accounts. All five are aware of the investigation.
“The two subject males were remorseful for their actions and have been referred to an educational program through the John Howard Society in lieu of charges,” the release states.
