Guelph driver clocked going 103 km/h in a 40 km/h zone

A Guelph woman was taken off the road after she was caught Wednesday afternoon driving more than two and a half times the speed limit.

Just before 3 p.m. a member of the Guelph police were patrolling on Woolwich Street near Marilyn Drive when he clocked a vehicle travelling 103 km/h in a 40 km/h zone.

A 62-year-old Guelph woman is charged with speeding and stunt driving. Her licence was suspended for 30 days and her vehicle was impounded for 14 days. A stunt driving conviction will attract a minimum licence suspension of one year, a minimum fine of $2,000 and six demerit points.
