Guelph police are investigating after two dozen bottles of fragrances were stolen from a business.
On Thursday staff of a business near Eramosa Road and Metcalfe Street reported the theft which occurred Feb. 6. Approximately 5:45 p.m. that day, a man entered the store and headed for the cosmetics department while carrying a shopping basket. He was observed placing items inside his coat while looking around. He eventually walked out of the store after putting down the empty basket.
Twenty-four bottles of cologne and perfume with a value of more than $500 were stolen.
The suspect was described as 40-50 years of age, 5’5” to 5’7” with an average build and wearing a camouflage jacket and beige hat.
