Fentanyl, cocaine found after stolen vehicle located at Guelph motel

On Feb. 5, 2020 at 11 p.m., two adult females parked a stolen vehicle at a motel located near the intersection of Woolwich Street and Woodlawn Road in the City of Guelph.

Police attended the scene, observed the females exit their room and arrested them at 11:37 p.m.

A search incident to arrest revealed 0.98 grams of fentanyl ($300 value) and 0.21 grams of cocaine ($20 value) in the purse of one of the females.

A 46-year-old Guelph female has been charged with:
    •    Possession of stolen property over $5,000
    •    Occupant of stolen motor vehicle
    •    Possession schedule I – cocaine
    •    Possession schedule I – fentanyl

A 38-year-old Guelph female has been charged with:
    •    Possession of stolen property over $5,000
    •    Occupant of stolen motor vehicle

They will both appear in court on March 17, 2020.
