A Guelph man has been arrested after $2,800 in alcohol was stolen from a local LCBO.

On Oct. 29, a male and female entered the LCBO location on Paisley Road, placed 13 bottles of scotch in a reusable shopping bag and walked out of the store. One week later the same male attended the same store and stole 12 more bottles of scotch and two bottles of tequila.

LCBO loss prevention staff were able to identify the male through previous dealings. On Tuesday a 32-year-old Guelph man was arrested for two counts of theft under $5,000.
