The Guelph Storm will be eyeing a defenceman when it makes its selection in Wednesday's CHL Import Draft.
Guelph picks 27th overall in the annual draft of non-North American players.
General manager George Burnett said the team is eyeing a 2007-born defenceman.
"We're probably looking at a 'D', but that could change," Burnett said. "It's a draft, after all, and you're never quite sure how things are going to work out.
Burnett confirmed Slovakian goaltender Damian Slavik will no be returning to the team next season. The team has already signed goaltenders it drafted this year and last year to go with starter Brayden Gillespie.
Slavik appeared in 23 regular season games last season and two playoff games.
