Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa Guelph is hosting a Gold Party!
On Monday and Tuesday October 7 and 8, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Minty Gold and Silver Exchange will be on site at 17 Woodlawn Rd. West, offering free evaluations of attendee’s precious metals.
“Bring your gold or silver jewelry, gold or silver coins, sterling silver flatware, bullion, broken jewelry or orphaned earrings and Minty will provide a free evaluation of your items,” explained spa owner Erin Phillips. She continued, “If you choose, Minty will purchase your unwanted gold or silver on the spot! This is a great way to find out the value of family heirlooms, jewelry you don't wear any more or broken jewelry.”
In addition, said Phillips, if you choose to sell your metals to Minty you can also direct all or a portion of your proceeds to support the Alzheimer's Society Waterloo Wellington (ASWW).
The Alzheimer’s Society has been an important part of Phillip’s family’s journey for the last several years. She shared, “My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2021 at the age of only 63. She has been participating in day programs supported by the Alzheimer's Society, and my dad - her caregiver – has participated in family and caregiver support groups with the ASWW. These supports have been more than worth their weight in gold!”
She added, “The fulfillment, purpose, dignity and joy my mom has found in these programs have been the best and only medicine to slow down this horrible disease.”
In order to show her appreciation to customers coming out to the Gold Party, Phillips is offering a free mini spa service to anyone donating part of their proceeds at the event. Attendees can enjoy a free 10-minute mini service as a thank you for their support of ASWW.
Attendees can choose from an exfoliating foot or hand massage, cold stone face massage, aromatherapy scalp massage, mini-LED phototherapy facial or mini microcurrent quick lift facial.
Phillips and the spa are also matching any donations up to $500, and attendees can enjoy a complimentary "Feel Free" non-alcoholic sparkling beverage from Cox Creek Cellars as part of the party.
