Guelph Storm rounds out its coaching staff

Former OHLer Scott Simmonds joins the Storm after being an assistant with the University of Guelph Gryphons last season

The Guelph Storm has rounded out its coaching staff with the addition of Scott Simmonds.

Simmonds, 30, played four years in the OHL with the Belleville Bulls, all under Storm general manager George Burnett, played five years at the University of Guelph then played five years professionally in England before retiring.

Most recently he served as an assistant coach for a season with the U of G men's hockey team.

Simmonds joins Rob Davison as assistants to new head coach Cory Stillman.

The team also announced that goalie coach Rob Beatty and skills development coach Corey Locke will be back with the team.
