Guelph Storm comes up with huge road win

SAGINAW, MI. – Jett Luchanko scored twice and Rylan Singh had three assists as the Guelph Storm downed the Saginaw Spirit 5-2 in Saginaw Saturday night.

Lev Katzin had a goal and an assist while the other Storm goals went to Carter Stevens (on the power play) and Leo Serlin (into an empty net). Luchanko also had an assist.

Zach Jovanovski returned from injury to make 33 saves in the Storm net.

Guelph led 2-1 after one period and 3-2 after two.

The Storm has a busy week coming up, with four games. Tuesday they play in Kitchener, Wednesday at home to Barrie, Friday at home against Flint and Sunday in Sarnia.

There are 14 games remaining in the regular season.
