The west end library branch, which has been closed following a water leak earlier this month, is set to reopen on Sunday.
“We are in the final stages of getting ready for re-opening,” said Chris Raso, manager of the Guelph Public Library branch at the West End Community Centre, in an email. “The repairs are almost finished and staff is ready to return to get us in shape to open on Sunday.”
The ceiling leak has forced the closure since Aug. 2. The repairs are almost finished and staff is ready to return to get us in shape to open on Sunday.
An Aug. 2 leak damaged the ceiling above a staff work area, Raso previously explained, adding that since it was in a staff work area and not a public one, damage to the library collection is “minimal.”
