Guelph Farmers’ Market

2 Gordon St.; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Check out an abundance of fresh produce, baked goods, beverages, and products from local meat producers

Eramosa River Trail parkrun and parkwalk

Eramosa River Trail at 85 York Rd.; 9 a.m. to noon

A free weekly timed 5k run, jog, and walk kicks off just east of the covered bridge near The Boathouse. Newcomers are encouraged to join at 8:45 a.m.

Trees for Guelph planting

Kortright Hills, south of Teal Drive; 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

You’re invited to plant some trees during a prime planting season. You can plant one tree or plant many, and you can also take part in demonstrations and learn techniques to plant for high survival rates.

Puslinch Community Showcase

Puslinch Community Centre Complex, 23 Brock Rd. S.; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This is the first Puslinch Community Showcase. It has over 70 vendors and three food trucks

Guelph Fall Handmade Market

Meadowville Garden Centre, 776 Wellington Road 124; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

An indoor fall themed market in a greenhouse. It’s free admission and pet friendly.

Elora Fergus Fall Studio Tour

Various locations - Elora, Fergus and Belwood; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A self-guided tour to meet the artists where they live and work. Pick up a map at the Elora Centre for the Arts or online here.

Railway Day at Locomotive 6167

John Galt Park, 15-147 Woolwich St.; 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Gather around the largest object in the Guelph Museum’s collection. Family fun, music, train ticket calligraphy and more.

Health and Wellness Fair

Guelph Lake Commons Independent Retirement Living, 520 Victoria Rd. N.; 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Over 17 vendors and eight guest speakers about nutrition and aging, hospice care and a fashion show.

A Concert with Addy-tude

Elora Centre for the Arts, 74 Melville St., Elora; 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

A fundraiser concert with performances by The Strumbellas, Reve and more.

Sunday

CIBC Run for the Cure Guelph

Wyndham Street North; 8 a.m.

The annual walk and run for breast cancer research is downtown. Registration begins at 8 a.m., opening ceremony starts at 9:30 a.m. and the 1k and 5k walk or run routes start at 10 a.m. For more information visit the website.

Pawsome Pet Market

The Hive at 349 Elizabeth St.; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Vendors selling pet related items. There will be a photo set up for you and your pet to get your photo taken.

Dogs and Cars Fundraiser

Guelph Toyota, 635 Woodlawn Rd. W.; 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Event to help raise money fro Guelph Humane Society and Ontario Veterinarian College.

Guelph Outdoor School Open House

Guelph Outdoor School, 733 Stone Rd. E.; 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Free family-friendly event includes forest wandering, animal tracking, making rope from plants, games and and Q&A..
