There’s a 10 per cent jump in the number of students enroled at the University of Guelph’s main campus this year, projection figures show. Despite the increase, the number of international students at the school is down.
A total of 28,370 students are enrolled this fall, an information report heading to the school’s board of directors later this week shows. That includes 26,507 domestic students and 1,858 from afar.
Last year’s main campus total enrolment was 25,750, with 2,024 international students.
This year’s projections include 25,283 undergrad students and 3,087 grad students.
During the 2019/2020 school year, there were 23,369 students enrolled at the school, including 1,652 international students.
