A CTV reporter covering this incident on Brock Road Wednesday morning was struck by a vehicle and suffered serious injuries.

The pedestrian who suffered serious injuries at a Puslinch crash scene Wednesday was a CTV reporter from Kitchener who was there covering an earlier serious crash.

Stephanie Villella, a reporter with CTV Kitchener for almost four years, suffered what OPP called serious and possibly life-threatening injuries near the intersection of Brock Road just north of Aberfoyle around noon when she was hit by a car driven by an elderly person.

At the time Villella was reportedly standing on a road that had been closed to through traffic due to an earlier serious collision that saw a man airlifted to hospital. Villella was there to report on that incident.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene. No charges have yet been laid.

Villella was taken to a trauma centre. There has been no update on her condition.
