GUELPH COALITION FOR ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION

Guelph Coalition for Active Transportation is thrilled to invite the community to the 9th annual Love Your Bike Festival on the front lawn of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Saturday, June 18.
Give your bike some love! Speed River Bicycle and other bike mechanics will be on hand to offer free mechanical checks in preparation for your summer riding.
Here are some of the highlights:

9 - 10 a.m.: Free coffee and treats! Registration opens for bike rides. Free mechanical checks begin.

9:30 a.m.: A "Wrench Off” - a friendly flat tire fixing competition between Mayor Cam Guthrie, MP Mike Schreiner, and more!

9:45 a.m.: A moment of silence for fallen cyclists, followed by the “Blessing of the Bikes"

10 and 10:15 a.m.: Group rides leave (waivers and helmets required)

10 a.m.: The "Easy Rider Parade" - a family ride around Exhibition Park led by GCAT.

10:15 a.m. The “Two Rivers Ride” along the recreation trails to Guelph Lake and back, led by Guelph Off Road Bicycling Association.

11 a.m. - noon: Rides finish at The Wooly Pub with a BBQ, refreshments and prizes provided by Steam Whistle Brewery, and a story time with Guelph Public Library for the kids with a free hot dog and drink!
Feel free to stay at the Wooly Pub for lunch!
