Live music concert series returning to Downtown Guelph in June

Live music to fill downtown Guelph streets every Friday starts June 3

Live music in the open air returns to Downtown Guelph in June as the Noon Hour Concert Series is back to St. George's Square.

Every Friday from June to July (except July 1) live music with be played by local musicians from noon to 1 p.m.

The music event is presented by the Downtown Guelph Business Association and Kaleidoscope Music Guelph.

Kicking off the concert series on June 3 at noon is singer and songwriter Mattie Leon. June 10 will feature a new band called SNWBRD which includes Sean Dean and Mike Belitsky from the band The Sadies and Nicol Robertson from the band The Layrite Boys.

One June 17, Guelph band The Flying Pants will perform cover songs. Bluegrass music will be performed by Brent Hagerman and The Passive Resistors on July 15.

Richard Laviolette to perform romantic songs on July 22. To end off the concert series on July 29 Vaudevillian will perform music from the 1930s.

The event hosts will provide parasols, sun screen, hula hoops and freezies.
