NEWS RELEASE
HOSPICE WELLINGTON
*************************
Hospice Wellington’s annual holiday tradition, Tree of Remembrance, is returning this December across Wellington County.

Make sure to add to your holiday to-do list a visit to Stone Road Mall to purchase your 2022 Holiday Ornament. This year’s ornaments are $10. You can purchase an ornament for your holiday tree, or to give as a gift for a loved one.

The Tree of Remembrance is a beautiful way to reflect on the past year, remember those we love, and make a moment in memory of a loved one who has passed.

This time of year, the holidays can be a time of wonderful celebration for those close to you, but for others, it can also be a time of loss and deep sadness.

Memorial tags can be filled out at time of purchase to hang on the community tree or can be taken home to give with your ornament gift to share your memorial with others.

You can also pick up an ornament at Hospice Wellington on their community level or keep an eye on social media for updates on other locations they will be attending across Wellington County.

In addition to selling ornaments, the Hospice Wellington volunteers are present to speak about those who people are missing, an opportunity to acknowledge the loss that many may be feeling.

Hospice Wellington is also accepting donations for those that would like to make a holiday gift in memory of a loved one – visit their donation page and choose Tree of Remembrance from the Campaign Option.

The hospice sent a special thank you to Andra Arnold of Royal LePage for once again being their Ornament Sponsor. The hospice appreciates Arnold’s focus on helping spread awareness of Hospice Wellington, its supportive programming and end-of-life services.

If you are experiencing difficulty over the holiday season with end-of-life care of a loved one, or grief from losing someone close to you, reach out to Hospice Wellington at 519-822-6660 or email [email protected].
