Take a walk through nature and explore Aspen Grove for the Guelph Garden Stroll event.
Master gardener Robert Pavlis created the garden and will be at the event to talk about it.
The garden stroll is happening on Sunday, June 12 at 8 Megan Pl., south of Clair Rd. E. and west of Victoria Rd. S.
There are three arrival times for the event are 10:00 to 11:20 a.m., 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
Event-goers can see sculptures, paintings, visit the marketplace and listen to live music. The Trillium Jazz Group will perform at 10:00 a.m., the 4 G’s Drummers will play at noon and the Dale Bonnet jazz piano will play at 2:00 p.m.
The event is rain or shine and the rain date is Sunday, June 19 only if extreme weather conditions occur.
A ticket for the event is $25 and registration which can be purchased on the Guelph Garden Stroll Eventbrite page.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign for Stephen Lewis Foundation Blooms for Africa.
The campaign helps grandmothers in Africa who are raising children orphaned due to the AIDS crisis.
