ABOYNE – The 47th Antique and Classic Car Show is returning to the Wellington County Museum and Archives Sunday, Aug. 27.
This is the WCMA’s longest running annual event and is open to the public from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
For those wishing to participate, registration opens at 11:00 am. There is no year or make restrictions, nor does it have to be a car. Trucks, vans and even motorbikes are welcome. There is no cost to park or register and admission is by donation.
At 3:30 pm awards will be presented for the following categories:
- Best in show
- Best finish
- Best interior
Schmecken BBQ and Laza Food and Beverage will be on site serving up food and drinks for purchase. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own food and enjoy a picnic on the lawn.
The Doug Clayfield Trio will be entertaining the crowd, playing classic rock, country and blues hits for the duration of the event.
