GuelphToday received the following letter to the editor from Bill Morrison:

In the recent past I have noticed a great deal of deforestation occurring around the Guelph area. There are a number of sites such as east Stone Road, Jones Baseline south of the lake, as well as Jones Baseline east of the lake. With our concerns about better air quality, conservation and community planning, how do these tree removal projects get done without community being notified? They seem to have the permission of both the township and the conservation authority. If there is an explanation, can it please be made public.
