The University of Guelph has reported a positive COVID-19 case on campus.
The school reports cases where the individual has been on campus within the last 14 days.
The case was confirmed on Sunday. The U of G does not identify if the case was a student, employee or visitor to the campus.
The school said that according to Public Health definition, the risk to the university community was considered low, that proper COVID-19 precautions were followed when individual was on campus.
"If Public Health determines there is a health and safety risk on campus due to a positive case of COVID-19, the university will be provided with directives and appropriate steps will be taken. Public Health will contact directly any individuals deemed to be at risk," the U of G said on its website.
