WELLINGTON COUNTY – The County of Wellington’s community library branches are reopening for more services in August.
The county has announced on their website that starting Monday Aug. 10, limited numbers of patrons will be allowed into any of the 14 branches.
Visits are limited to 30 minutes and social distancing must be practiced. Visitors are required to follow COVID-19 screening protocols and wear a mandatory mask or face-covering to enter the library.
The county asks visitors to sanitize their hands and only touch material you intend to borrow. All accessed materials or returns will be quarantined.
The libraries have been offering curbside pick-up since late May and this will continue on weekdays by appointment in the late afternoon. Contact your local library branch for more details on any changes to this.
Computer access is by appointment only for 30 minute periods. Walk-ins and back-to-back appointments are not allowed.
There will be no evening or Sunday service.
