Why are we even considering prostituting our precious aquifer water to the highest bidder? Just say no to this permit. It is time for our Provincial leaders to show what they are made of.Our water is now controlled by a private equity fund! Investors! People that want to make money by maximizing their return on our water! This is Ontario! Let's not participate in the global water grab! Aberfoyle Creek has been crying out in stress for years. In 2010, Mr. Denhoed reported that pumping at Nestle Well TW3-80 was sufficient to cause a reversal of the flow of the Aberfoyle Creek. It was also determined via the City of Guelph/Guelph Eramosa Township Tier 3, that this pumping raises the level of water risk in adjacent areas to "Significant Risk". It boggles my mind that the recent 2019 Blue Metrics Report states, "the sustainability of future municipal water supply systems in Guelph, Fergus and Elora is uncertain" and yet concludes its ok to continue bottling our water for private profit!
