We will not have 2 hospitals, it will be one efficient hospital. This is a decision from the Province in line with all other communities of our size. The current location can be expanded to accommodate the growth needed but it does not have great access and would need to be entirely retrofitted which is costly and like fitting a square peg into a round hole. This is why there is consideration for a new build.
