A Guelph woman is charged with impaired driving after a driving complaint Tuesday afternoon.
Approximately 3:15 p.m. a caller reported a vehicle being driven erratically in the area of Victoria Road South and Maltby Road. Officers attended the owner’s address and observed a woman in the vehicle with a dog. While speaking to the woman officers detected a strong odour of alcohol on her breath and she was placed under arrest.
Breath tests at the police station revealed she had nearly three times the legal amount of alcohol in her system. A 47-year-old Guelph woman is charged with impaired driving.
