Guelph police are investigating after a woman was confronted by a male with a knife outside a downtown business.
Just after 7 p.m. Thursday, a woman was leaving a business near Norfolk Street and Paisley Street when she was approached by a male. She was wearing Airpods and did not clearly hear what the male said, but believes he was asking for money. After she got in her car she noticed the male was holding a knife and waving it around. The complainant left the area and was not physically injured.
The male was described as white, late 30s or early 40s, 6’2” with a slim build and wearing a white jacket with black cuffs and jeans.
