WELLINGTON COUNTY - In February 2020, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began a criminal investigation into the conduct of one of its officers.
On April 23, 2020, members of the Professional Standards Bureau of the OPP arrested and charged Sergeant Mike Dolderman, a 21-year member of the Wellington County OPP Detachment, with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Sexual Assault (five counts),
- Breach of Trust (five counts).
He is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on July 28, 2020. The officer has been suspended from duty.
In addition Brenda Dolderman, 53 years old, was also charged with Obstruct Justice (three counts) and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on July 28, 2020.
