Two pedestrians were treated for minor injuries after being struck by vehicles in separate collisions Wednesday in Guelph, police report.
They say just before 4 p.m. emergency services were called to the parking lot of the Metro store on Edinburgh Road South. A woman was walking through the parking lot when she was struck by a reversing vehicle and knocked to the ground. She was transported to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
At 8:40 p.m. a motorist called 911 to report he had struck a pedestrian at Gordon Street and College Avenue. A woman was transported to hospital as a precaution. A 35-year-old Guelph man was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.
