A Guelph man has been arrested after another man was assaulted over throwing snowballs last week.
Just after 3 p.m. last Thursday police were called to the area of St. George’s Square downtown. Investigation say a man was allegedly throwing snowballs at a youth when another man told him to stop, prompting a physical altercation during which the victim was punched and kicked in the head several times.
The victim sustained several cuts to his face and hand but declined medical attention.
On Sunday afternoon a 41-year-old Guelph man was located downtown and arrested for assault.
