Guelph police are investigating after a home near downtown was entered overnight while the residents slept.

On Thursday police received a call from a resident of Huron Street, who reported property including two phones, car keys, a jacket and two debit cards had been stolen sometime overnight.

The two debit cards were later used to make several purchases downtown. A suspect was caught on video wearing the stolen jacket while using the cards.
