Guelph police are trying to identify the male in the attached photos as we continued to investigate a series of frauds.
On Nov. 21, a male in his 80s reported had received a call supposedly from his bank, advising his debit card had been compromised. The caller said a courier would attend the victim’s residence to collect the debit card and provided his PIN number.
A man attended later the same day and was given the debit card, which was subsequently used to make approximately $4,000 in purchases. Police believe the male in the photographs has information relevant to the investigation.
Anyone who recognizes him or has information is asked to call Constable Abdullah Eidokheil at 519-824-1212, ext. 7415, email [email protected], leave an anonymous message for Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or leave an anonymous tip online at www.csgw.tips.
