One charged following Highway 6 collision this morning

No injuries were reported as a result of the two-vehicle incident

CENTRE WELLINGTON – One driver is being charged following a collision between Fergus and Guelph on Wednesday morning.

Police responded to a two-vehicle collision Wednesday morning at the intersection of Highway 6 and Eighth Line/Wellington Road 22 in Centre Wellington.

One car had damage to its front end and a work truck was on its side in a ditch.

OPP spokesperson Matthew Burton said in an email one driver was charged with a fail to yield to traffic on through highway as a result of the investigation at the scene.

No injuries were reported and nobody required medical attention or hospitalization.

Alcohol was not a factor in the collision, Burton said.
