A Guelph woman faces assault and other charges after a dispute over drugs Monday, report Guelph police.
Approximately 10 a.m. a male attended the Guelph police station. He reported he had been arguing with a female known to him because he did not have any drugs for her to use when she punched him in the face and took his phone.
The accused was located a short time later walking downtown and still had the victim’s phone in her possession.
A 33-year-old Guelph woman is charged with assault, possessing property obtained by crime and breaching a probation order.
