Guelph police are investigating after a high-end bicycle was stolen during a break-in to a downtown shed.
Tuesday morning police were called to a home near Oxford Street and Glasgow Street North. Surveillance video showed a male checking car doors in the laneway behind the complainant’s home just before midnight Sunday. The suspect then hopped a fence into the complainant’s backyard, entered the shed and stole an orange Kona Precept downhill mountain bike.
The suspect was described as a white male wearing a red Florida Panthers hockey jersey over a hoody, dark pants, white and black running shoes and a black toque with white writing. He also had a small black shoulder bag.
