Waterloo Regional Police arrested two individuals after an investigation involving a firearm.
On July 21, 2024 at approximately 4 a.m., police were called to an address on Roseville Road in North Dumfries Township for reports of threats with a firearm.
Investigating officers learned an altercation took place at the location where a firearm was brandished.
There were no reports of any physical injuries.
As a result of that investigation, two individuals were arrested in Guelph.
A 26-year old Waterloo man faces numerous firearms offences along with several breach of judicial order offences.
A 29-year old Guelph woman was charged with one count of unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
Police do not believe any other persons were involved and there is no threat to the public.
The man was held in police custody for a bail hearing and the woman is scheduled to appear in court on a later date.
