A Guelph male already wanted on several charges added more to the list after he was arrested Saturday afternoon, report police.
Officers on patrol downtown approximately 2:20 p.m. Saturday located the male, who they knew to be wanted in connection with an assault causing bodily harm investigation and several other charges.
The male was arrested on the outstanding warrant. During a search incident to arrest officers located a spring-loaded knife, pepper spray and a baggie containing approximately $1,000 worth of suspected crystal methamphetamine.
A 35-year-old Guelph male was further charged with possessing a weapon contrary to an order, unauthorized possession of a weapon, possessing a controlled substance and two counts of failing to comply with court orders.
He will appear in a Guelph bail court Monday.
