Two vehicles collided head-on Friday morning, resulting in the death of a Fergus man.
The crash happened at about 10:30 a.m. on Highway 6, between Eighth Line and Sideroad 6 South.
One of the drivers, a 40-year-old Fergus man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second driver, 30, was taken to hospital in Guelph with minor injuries.
The investigation continues. No changes have been laid.
That section of road was closed for several hours on Friday.
Members of Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Service and Guelph Fire Department assisted in the response.
