Two people learned the danger of playing with replica firearms Friday afternoon after they were the subjects of a high-risk takedown by police.
Approximately 2:45 p.m. police received calls from several residents about a man and women waving a gun around near Waterloo Avenue and Woodycrest Drive. Officers arrived within minutes and ordered the pair to the ground.
The firearm, which was determined to be a replica, was surrendered to police. No charges were laid.
