Sometime over the weekend between Saturday March 1 and Monday March 3 a theft occurred from a construction site, located near Speedvale Avenue West and Kathleen Street in Guelph.
Two homes under construction were entered and copper wire was cut out and stolen from each. The process of removing the wire caused considerable damage, resulting in an estimated $80,000 to repair and completely rewire both homes.
