Earlier this month Guelph police commenced an investigation into a male residing in the downtown area trafficking drugs and stolen property.

As a result, on Feb. 10 officers executed a search warrant at an apartment on Carden Street.

Police seized a quantity of crack cocaine, cash, weapons, and property that had been stolen from a break and enter in the downtown area of Guelph.

A 38-year-old Guelph male was arrested and charged with possessing a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, unauthorized possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon as well as breaching several court orders and conditions.

He will appear in a Guelph bail court Friday.
