At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 12, a four-door white Honda Accord was traveling northbound on Victoria Road just south of Speedvale Avenue when it left the roadway striking a hydrant and a tree.
The driver of the Accord was a 34-year-old Guelph man who received serious, but not life threatening injuries to his lower body and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
A charge of careless driving was laid against the driver of the vehicle.
