A 15-year-old boy was transported to hospital Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle on his way to school.

Just after 8 a.m. police were called to a west-end school after a staff member reported a student on a bicycle being struck in front of the school. A 15-year-old was transported to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

A 24-year-old Owen Sound woman is charged with careless driving.
