Guelph police are looking for a woman after someone broke into a house and made herself at home Thursday.
Approximately 4:20 p.m. a homeowner in the Exhibition Park area called to report a break and enter after returning home and finding the front door open. Surveillance video showed a female attempting to open the back door just after 8 a.m. before gaining access through the front door.
It is not known how long she remained in the residence, but while there she ate some food, fed the complainant’s dogs, turned off the air conditioning and changed her clothes. Before leaving she stole property including cigarettes, gift cards and clothing.
Officers recognized the woman from the surveillance video. A 43-year-old Guelph woman is wanted for break and enter.
